Reminders

Life is just so busy. It seems like all the things happening in the world create this steady stream of news and information. I find myself checking my phone constantly. Feeling myself shocked, upset, horrified, anxious and conscious of the ache in my soul and my heart.

As I was walking to do errands at lunch today, in my path was a perfect, iridescent feather. I took a breath and remembered that my feet connected me to the ground and my pace slowed.
