7/14/2016 0 Comments Duality Feathers are magick! They are soft yet rigid, delicate yet strong. They can wing away in flight or line a nest in preparation for new life.
They hold the essence of the avian who made it and express our written words on a page. Gorgeous as a whole but the small filaments that make up the feather are magnificent. A feather reminds me we are made up of many parts. It also shows me how to hold duality. I can be open yet have boundaries. I can soften and still be strong.

It seems like all the things happening in the world create this steady stream of news and information. I find myself checking my phone constantly. Feeling myself shocked, upset, horrified, anxious and conscious of the ache in my soul and my heart.
As I was walking to do errands at lunch today, in my path was a perfect, iridescent feather. I took a breath and remembered that my feet connected me to the ground and my pace slowed. |
